1. Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Earthing Ireland, located at 39 Meath Street, Dublin, D08 T0X4, Ireland ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website www.earthingireland.ie .

We are the data controller for the personal data we process. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at:

2. What personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

a) Information you provide to us

  • Order information: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and billing address when you place an order.
  • Payment information: payment details are processed directly by our payment providers (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Newsletter subscription: email address when you sign up for our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.

  • Reviews: your name and comments when you leave a product review.
  • Customer support chat: messages you send through our on-site chat feature. We process this data to respond to your enquiry under performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in providing customer support (Art. 6(1)(f)).

b) Information collected automatically

  • Session data: IP address, browser type (user agent), and timestamps of site activity.
  • Analytics data: if you consent, we use Google Analytics to collect pseudonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses but does not fully anonymise them; this data is therefore pseudonymised, not anonymised, under GDPR.
  • Marketing data: if you consent, Meta (Facebook) Pixel collects data for advertising measurement.
  • Advertising identifiers: if you arrive via an advertisement, we may store the campaign identifiers (e.g., UTM parameters, Google click ID, Facebook click ID) associated with your visit.
